Popularisation of Science

"Science is a way of thinking much more than it is a body of knowledge" (Carl Sagan)

Joseph Roche could be better at explaining scientific concepts to non-scientisits (ie the vast public). In fact, he vehemently wishes he was better at it and is trying (albeit half-heartedly) to improve. People who have the gift of making difficult scientific concepts easy-to-understand but still interesting and exciting are few and far between. A few of Joseph's favourites are below, with more to be added.

	Carl Sagan Hero. No one has done more for the popularisation of Science in the modern technology-driven world. He is one of Joseph Roche's all time favourite scientists.
	Simon Singh Another gifted and inspirational teacher of Science.
